TESORO is here to share its love for vintage NYC fashion and environmental awareness through our tailored up-cycled apparel. No two bags are the same, every creation being one of a kind and handmade. All material used in our process has been compiled from local thrift and vintage stores in the Brooklyn/Queens area. 

According to data from the Environmental Protection Agency, in 2018, 17 million tons of textile waste ended up in landfills. This made up 5.8 percent of the total waste generation that year in NYC. 

The business idea emerged from a childhood craft . With the expertise and support from a local, hispanic owned tailor shop in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY the once amateur project has become an entrepreneurial reality.
